Hickory State Run Park

Troop 300 stayed the weekend at Hickory Run State Park. The Scouts successfully navigated the first nine coordinates on the parks orienteering course. They had to get bearings using a compass and map as well as identifying and understanding how to use terrain as a guide. All scouts participated and gained valuable experience despite the cold and wet conditions!

We also visited Boulder Field for a photo opt before heading home.
