Troop 300 Camp Acahela

BSA Troop 300 spent a late March weekend at Camp Acahela of the NEPA Council in Blakeslee. The camp is set along the Lehigh River and the Tobyhanna Creek. Scouts stayed in a propane heated cabin, as temperatures hit 19 degrees at night. This was the first trip for crossover Scouts. Everyone did some tree identification, trail and site maintenance, knots, a night hike and a fair amount of recreation time spent with football!
